ABOUT SALIOU NDIAYE

Saliou Ndiaye is a Senegalese Student and Entrepreneur, who was born on January 13th in Dakar,

In high school he was studying Science but had a big passion in natural science, English, leadership, art and swimming!

Thus, as a scientist student he had been the first president of his high school English club in 2015, then participated in English lovers’ awards competition and helped his team to win their first match by delivering a great speech.

After graduating from high school in the field of experimental science S2 in 2016, he went to The University of Cheikh Anta Diop to study Biology, Chemistry and Geoscience in the department of science and technology. But soon he joined a professional training school called, Institut Africain des Etudes du Développemnt, where he is an undergraduate student in Oil and Gas Production, and has the opportunity to get an internship in CIEL OIL which is a Senegalese company serving the economic development of our country.

As an English lover, he didn’t abandoned English after graduating in high school. In fact he automatically joined The American Center of the Embassy of the United States in Dakar to keep practicing his English as a member. He had the opportunity to participate in many programs; such as the black voices contest which he won in 2018 and had the chance to be invited by the Ambassador Excellency Sir Tulinabo Mushingi in his residence. By Networking, he met many important figures and young entrepreneurs and leaders.

As an entrepreneur he cofounded with some other young and committed people a non-profit organization called PERMASCHOOL, which is a project focused on environmental education and the promotion of sustainable urban agriculture through permaculture in primary schools, high schools and especially the public ones, but also involved in public places to provide solutions about some environmental and ecological problems. The association is working hard to impact the community of Keur Massar Unit 4.

His last words, advice and ambition:

“ Youth, understand that the government and private companies are far from being sufficient to recruit all graduated young people from universities, so, from now on, start to practice and develop your entrepreneurship and leadership skills, indeed an entrepreneurial mindset enhances a young person’s employability ” By Saliou Ndiaye. 


His ambition is to owe his own company, and compete with a large number of foreign companies that weigh a lot in our country's economy in the field of energy or agribusiness, and then creates jobs for his community.
